Robert Savidan - Director
I began my career in the solid waste industry in 1999 working as a residential curbside collector. I moved into landfill operations in 2003 at the Aquatera landfill transfer station and moved into the lead hand position where I ran the roll off division, oversaw the residential curbside contract, helped to implement our landfill to gas project, and maintained a working relationship with outside contractors. In 2018 I began my roll as landfill supervisor and have successfully maintained operations of the landfill to gas project, field operations including equipment and building maintenance and contract oversight. In 2019 I received the designation of MOLO and have been working on extending cell life by implementing a waste shredder that increases cell space and reduces air space by 20-30%.
I believe that by reducing methane emissions, recycling all that we can, and striving for a cleaner environment and  help to create renewable resources that will benefit the communities in Alberta.
