Reid Williams - Director

Currently, Reid is the Manager of Solid Waste and Recycling Services, in Clearwater County and has been in that role for approximately three years. Prior to that, he was in a similar role for four years with the Rocky Mountain Regional Solid Waste Authority.  The County serves nearly 12,000 residents and provides solid waste, recycling and diversion services in the Central Alberta region. The County manages and operates ten (10) waste transfer stations, including collections at these facilities, and a Regional Class II Landfill.  Currently, all solid waste operationsare managed and staffed internally by County personnel.

Previously, Reid has worked in the solid waste industry for twenty plus years in collections, transfer, recycle and landfill operationsprior to working with Clearwater County.  His experience over the years in private industry includes work in project and account sales, operations and management. 

Currently, he resides in the Town of Rocky Mountain House and enjoys spending time with his three adult kids and family.  He is looking forward to working with everyone at Alberta CARE and help continue the good work that is being done.
